New Construction Jobs Being Added in Various US States; ConstructionCrossing Adds More and More Jobs Every Week
Pasadena, CA, — ConstructionCrossing, an affiliate of EmploymentCrossing, the leading job board in US, has added 8,867 construction jobs in its database, in a bid to help the weakening construction sector. The construction job site provides instant access to a comprehensive pool of listings based on one's particular area of interest. ConstructionCrossing scours thousands of webpages and more than 250,000 employer websites for exclusive construction jobs and lists them in its database. The exclusive job board for construction professionals has also begun to intensify its job search in its quest to ward of unemployment in the construction sector.
''Various construction companies are doing their best in their respective sectors to solidify the construction job market in their own ways,'' says Harrison Barnes, the CEO and founder of ConstructionCrossing. ''ConstructionCrossing is also doing its best to stage a major revival for construction job seekers.''
An £80 million project by the Manhattan Loft Corporation (MLC) is all set to be started as chances are that the contract will be given to Galliford Try and will result in jobs to hundreds of construction workers. The project involves the building of 68 luxury apartments and a 245-bed hotel next to St. Pancras station. Additionally, a $288.5 million building project that will employ more than 400 people at its peak has recently gained ground at Fort Bragg, the US army post in North Carolina.
An announcement by the Irish Greyhound Board that they are to create 250 construction jobs will come as a welcome relief for the hard-hit workers too. Also, according to the report prepared for the group Coal River Mountain Watch, construction of a windmill operation along the ridges would generate more than 275 temporary construction jobs, along with 40 direct and more than 30 indirect jobs in the process.
''This does mean that if planned in the right sense and if efforts are in the right direction, employment problems can be sorted out. It is important to create many construction jobs in every US state to combat the downturn and revive employment statistics all over,'' says Barnes. ''But what is more important for a job seeker presently is that it searches the jobs in the right place.''
Barnes adds, ''ConstructionCrossing is a revolutionary job board for construction job seekers as it strives to post each and every construction job that is there. ConstructionCrossing weeds out spam and jobs outside your niche, allowing you to search efficiently and specifically. Trust the only job source that's tailored to your industry.''
ConstructionCrossing aims to update its website with all of the most recent construction jobs. The website plans to add thousands of jobs this month in its continuing effort to offer the highest number of active jobs possible to the job seekers. A few years ago, I spoke with a man (now retired) who had worked in a large corporation for forty years and in his last twenty years, he basically did nothing. He was paid very well and was more or less forgotten—doing very little of anything. He would show up at the office at 9:00 a.m. each day, try to look busy—do a task now and then—and then get in his car at 5:30 p.m. each evening and dr... |
