Construction Consultant Jobs
A construction consultant is responsible for providing technical advice in construction activities undertaken by the employer. Duties include advising on business development, new ventures, and new technologies; keeping updated on OSHA and other government regulations as they may apply to construction sites; studying lucrative markets and technological advancements to help the firm gain competitive/strategic advantage; advising on construction policies to be undertaken; and advising the firm on the overall construction activities. A construction consultant typically reports to the construction director. Organizations that recruit a construction consultant include builders, public welfare departments in the government, and highways and construction authorities.
A construction consultant should have a bachelor\\\' degree in science, civil engineering or a related field. Prior experience working as a construction consultant is an advantage. Some organizations refer to a construction consultant as a construction advisor.
