Construction Electrical Jobs
Job openings for construction electrical staff at construction sites can be classified into junior construction electrical staff and senior construction electrical staff. Typical responsibilities for junior construction electrical staff include ensuring that the facilities of the firm are electrically connected in a safe and secure manner; ensuring that there are no problems in the use of electrical appliances in the firm; ensuring an uninterrupted electricity supply; monitoring various electrical and electronic devices for problems and working on them when required; connecting new facilities to the main unit; and troubleshooting in times of power failure, generator problems, and malfunctioning of electrical components. Senior construction electrical staff usually oversees work of the junior electrical staff.
A construction electrical position requires a high school diploma combined with some certification to work as an electrician. Prior experience working as an electrician may be desired.
