Construction Quality Assurance Jobs
A construction quality assurance manager primarily monitors the quality assurance activities provided by a company\\\'s engineering contractors through a team of quality assurance professionals. Furthermore, a construction quality assurance manager advises and assists in the development and execution of the engineering contractors\\\' quality plan to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, engineering codes, and standards. A construction quality assurance manager also develops and implements quality standards and procedures, and ensures proper documentation, including planning, reviewing, and updating of the project management plan.
In order to qualify for construction quality assurance manager jobs, one must be a civil engineer and have completed the related post-secondary education. Ten years of industrial QA experience, including at least three years exposure to large construction projects, is preferred for this post. Construction quality assurance managers are also expected to have strong communication, computer, organizational, and leadership skills.
