Construction Safety Jobs
A construction safety professional is responsible for all onsite health and safety issues arising at a construction site. Other duties for a typical construction safety position include providing technical support in assessing design and construction safety hazards; coaching construction and project management personnel in this area; providing technical safety support; promoting EHS policies throughout the organization; evaluating project safety policies implementation; and assisting in overall activity and success of environmental safety programs. Most sought after positions in the area include those of construction safety coordinator, director - site construction safety, construction safety program enforcement professional, construction safety engineer, safety and health supervisor, critical safety engineer, construction site safety manager, and safety representative.
A construction safety job opening may require a strong knowledge or background in environmental health safety. Prior experience as a construction safety or environmental health and safety professional may be advantageous.
