Civil Foreman Jobs description
A civil foreman position is generally available with a construction company, builder, contractor, government construction agency, etc. A civil foreman is responsible for supervising a crew of construction workers, guiding the crew on construction works and other matters, ensuring that best practices and compliances with OSHA regulations are taken care of, attendance and remuneration considerations for the crew, and on-site troubleshooting and problem solving.A civil foreman may also be referred to as a civil site foreman or construction supervisor.
A civil foreman should have a diploma in civil engineering or construction. Several years of experience in a construction setting while reporting to a civil foreman is desirable.
