Job Description
Dewberry is currently seeking a Construction Manager for its Denver, CO office.
The position will perform a variety of investigation, design and construction related work in support of infrastructure projects in the Denver Metropolitan area including Colorado Springs. The CM will perform such tasks as construction inspection, collecting field data needed to progress pay applications, establishing quantity and cost estimates. Inspector must be flexible, client focused and capable of working independently under the supervision of project managers.

Responsibilities
Monitor contractor operations for compliance with contract plans, provisions and specifications
Coordinate and schedule various phases of construction inspection with the prime contractor and other agencie
Proactive in identifying field issues and discuss solutions with supervisor
Collaborative approach to working in a team that includes the owner and contractor
Prepare and process construction records, including RFI\u2019s, submittals, field measurements for progress pay applications, extra work billings, and contract change orders
Ability to document all field activities, work in a collaborative manner with the owner and contractor and represent Dewberry and our clients in the highest capacity
Required Skills & Required Experience
Experience with traffic control and SWPPP implementation as it pertains to underground utilities within roadways a plus.
High school graduate or GED equivalent is required, Associates degree in Engineering and/or NICET II is preferred.
10 yrs of experience. Water main and utility field inspection experience preferred.
Works in a very timely fashion to meet project requirements.
Communicates effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and agency review staff. Additional requirements include excellent communications skills, ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
Driving is a requirement of the position. A clean driving record is required.
The projected range for this position is $90,000-$130,000,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
