Iyabak Construction, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. (BSNC) is seeking a Construction Administrator for its Anchorage, AK office. The position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dedicated individual with over five (5) years of working experience with Federal and state Certified Payrolls, Construction Filing, Federal and Commercial Construction Contracts and Change Orders. The successful candidate will assist both the General Manager and Project manager with daily activities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Scheduling to include assisting the Project Manager with scheduling subcontractors, preparing/drafting subcontracts for review.
Coordinates with various departments to bid for processes and maintain track of all project schedule and ensure compliance to all timeframe and prepare an effective work schedule in coordination with design engineers and maintain regular visits to construction sites.
Monitors an effective construction quality control program and ensures compliance to all construction regulations and prepares required documents and establishes quality of all construction work for all contracts.
Prepares reviews and transmits all submittals.
Tracks subcontractor insurance expiration dates, purchasing to include writing and tracking purchase orders.
Evaluate all projects and ensure compliance to all budgets for contract services and coordinate with Project Managers to review all projects and maintain estimates, track all invoices and work orders.
Assist contractors to evaluate all contract documents and prepare reports for any deficiencies in projects and ensure adherence to all design and construction regulations for all new buildings at various locations.
Ensure effective maintenance of all project schedules.
Document construction activities and evaluate progress of projects
Monitor all ad hoc requests and participate in various construction progress meetings and maintain records for all construction procedures.
Process invoices, cost coding, acquiring and securing performance and payment bonds and insurance
Perform other related duties as required.
Job Requirements :
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Cost Point to include reviewing and submitting invoices via WAWF
Ten key by touch.
Ability to meet weekly deadlines.
Ability to balance multiple competing priorities under deadlines.
Dependable and punctual.
Must have the ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks.
Must have advanced abilities in current versions of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Must be able to pass a background check, posses a valid driver's license.
Must be able to provide clean driving record and current vehicle insurance coverage.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with and understanding of government contracting processes.
U.S. Government contracting experience a plus.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Good interpersonal skills and able to work in a team environment

Job is performed in a modern office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work environment is a modern and quiet office setting, where employee should be familiar with common office equipment such as postage equipment, printers, copiers, and fax machines. Periodic travel may be required to support job needs.
