Buckeye Partners is currently seeking a Contract Construction Scheduler
with experience in construction projects in the Oil & Gas Industry to support our South Texas Gateway Terminal Project in Ingleside, TX
The Construction Scheduler is responsible for providing scheduling support to the South Texas Gateway Terminal Project team to include oversight and coordination of construction contractor scheduling activities. This includes creating, updating, and maintaining, the project master schedule. This position requires the ability to interface with construction contractors directly to ensure timely and accurate contractor schedule deliverables.

Strong organizational, record-keeping, and reporting skills
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
· EPC Schedule Management.
Create, update, and maintain multiple project master schedules.
· Contractor Schedule Management.
Communicate project scheduling expectations to construction contractors and ensure those expectations are met.
Create and send out various “look ahead” and other project status updates to stake holders.
Be an expert in all Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite of programs. Will also need to learn other Buckeye systems.
· Project Schedule Control.
Maintain approved project schedule baseline. Analyze any actual or forecast schedule variance and drive the schedule recovery process working with project stake holders and vendors.
Collaborate with other Buckeye teams or departments as needed.
· And other duties as assigned.
· High School education required.
· A.S. / B.S. Degree in Business/Construction Management/Engineering is preferred.
· 10+ years of Project Scheduling / Project Controls experience is desired with experience in industrial engineering / construction projects required.
· Experience using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project required.

· Strong written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to facilitate team meetings effectively.
· Strong organizational skills and the capability to meet scheduled deadlines when implementing multiple initiatives.
· Must take ownership of the project scheduling process and lead scheduling initiatives.
