This position will require extensive knowledge of rail/transit systems, executing rail/transit projects and developing junior staff. Responsible for construction management, including quality of deliverables, adherence to schedules, and overall client satisfaction of assigned projects.nResponsibilities nn Assumes ownership of assigned projects and executes successfully.n Monitors budgets and schedules of assigned projects.n Identifies potential project prospects and assists/leads in preparation of technical proposals to support marketing efforts.n Serves as Project Manager on a CM project or Resident Engineer on Large CM projects.n Responsible for assigned project delivery and quality of deliverables.n Identify and recommend potential candidates to be hired for the rail/transit. n Prepares proposals and participates in client interviews.n Maintain membership in professional societies.n Other responsibilities as assigned.nnQualifications nn Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture or related field of study.n Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Architect (RA) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) required.n 15 years of experience in Project Management activities and managing construction field teams.n OSHA 30-Hour Safety Course certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months upon hire.n Experience in MTA-New York City Transit, Metro North Railroad, NJ Transit or Long Island Railroad construction projects.n Project Management Procedures (PMPu2019s) and Project Management Guidelines (PMGu2019s) familiarity a plus.n Team player u2013 Demonstrate solid presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.n Good knowledge of MS Office.n Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, and be a team player.n Candidate must have access to reliable transportation.n Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.n Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clientsu2019 toughest challenges.n High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.n Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.nn nTYLin is an equal opportunity employer and we prohibit discrimination and harassment of any type as protected by federal, state, or local laws. TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $143,900 - $215,900 annually for this position and local market.
