Overall Job Function:


for planning and executing minor and major facilities projects at H&M Group

sites. Projects to be completed on time including

complete budget management

with the lowest possible

long-term cost, and to the H&M group high quality finish. Provide excellent

partnership and customer service to all H&M group stakeholders.

Job Responsibility including but not limited to:

Team and support their development. Works with the Facilities Manager, Regional

Facilities Manager and Facilities Analyst to achieve results, values, and

leadership expectations.

Identify potential future Facilities Project Managers to secure succession planning goals

Support with the training and development of new Facilities Project Managers

Promote a positive feedback culture

Communicate clearly and in an inspiring way about business performance and goals


Responsible to effectively

and efficiently deliver completed Facilities projects for H&M Group sites.

Meet with all stakeholders to safeguard that Facilities is considered in initiatives and developments.

Set H&M Group requirements for the FM service scope to maximize selling and to minimize long term cost together with relevant internal H&M Group teams based on the Global Requirements, Regional and Country Requirements and local legislation.

Ensure that specific business needs are considered in the requirements while striving to keep alignment between sites and within the H&M Group in its’ entirety.

Responsible to work on assigned projects as an owner’s representative by working both individually as well as in a team with H&M group and external stakeholders including but not limited to landlords, consultants and general contractors.

Responsible for Facilities project budget based on agreed requirements & planned activities

Responsible to develop strategic improvement plans according to cost and quality follow up by partnering with Facilities Managers.


Monitors and controls all

clear and aligned requirements for the FM projects to best meet our business

needs. Identify well executed projects, capture best practices and share

experiences from existing H&M Group sites within the FM Organization and

with our Stakeholders. Attend all redline meetings and construction walks of

new sites, optimizations and closures to ensure proper standards

and identify warranty opportunities. Ensures

all construction punch-list items are documented. The FM service scope

includes, but is not limited to:

Manages & executes all building improvements & minor construction to maintain best customer experience.

Manages all scheduled and reactive CAPEX/OPEX projects from initial layout through construction document development, landlord approval, permit, bid, construction, punch list and turnover to stakeholders.

Manages all remediation, restoration and closures of any H&M Group sites.

Partners with Regional Facilities Manager and Facilities Analyst in external partner selection and onboarding process

Orders and confirms delivery of all interior product necessary for projects.

Responsible for setting, driving and coordinating all time schedules involved in the construction of the project.

Responsible for participating in construction walks in partnership with construction, including punch and handover.

Responsible for reviewing, preparation and execution of department invoicing.


Secure the highest

quality and lowest possible long-term cost by creating and maintaining the 3-year

plan for the H&M Group. Ensure fully operational and efficient sites

throughout the lifecycle. Works actively with Facilities Analyst and Regional

Facilities Manager on cost follow up including forecast.

Support procurement or tendering process for FM vendor contracts within the agreed FM Service scope according to guidelines.

Ensure contractual compliance of FM Service delivery from external service provider & landlord incl. governance structure

Execute agreed initiatives and projects for the H&M Group.

Provide operational input for new sites and optimizations to secure cost and quality levels and act as a receiver for new H&M Group sites and optimizations to secure operational service delivery.

Responsible for creating and delivering CAPEX, OPEX and investment budgets for the H&M Group sites for all projects.

Partners with Construction PM for H&M Group Scorecard planning, execution, and follow up for all new sites and optimizations.

Responsible to walk site prior to end of one year of construction warranty.

Drive for improvements and innovation together with external service providers.

Financial Accountability:

Manages and reports on budget for all assigned projects.

Solicits and manages vendor proposals and invoicing.

Budgets costs of work for potential new projects with Facilities Analyst

Minimum Candidate Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred with a focus on Project management, or construction.

Minimum 3 years of construction project management experience multi-site retail preferred

Must have a valid US Driver’s License and clean driving record


Demonstrated leadership and negotiation skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and excellent prioritization skills

Proficient at Microsoft Office systems

Provide solution driven actions that reduce long term maintenance cost

Experience work order management systems necessary

Required domestic travel for extended periods of time, up to 50% of time
