Construction Management Jobs description
A construction management job calls of important responsibilities such as estimating budgets for construction projects, making job sites, updating and maintaining various reports, coordinating with various internal departments and external vendors, managing multiple concurrent sites and general contractors. Duties also include recommending selection of contractors, reviewing and approving general contractor bids, conducting contract negotiations, reviewing and approving changes to the contract and applications for payments, and maintaining construction schedules.A construction management job requires good years of experience in the construction industry. A degree in civil engineering is required for such positions. Strong designing and team leading skills along with extensive knowledge in planning, constructing, and managing projects is required.
