Construction Manager Jobs description
A construction manager performs a wide range of regular tasks including managing and ensuring customer expectations for quality, schedule, and budget. Duties involve managing operations for project and interface, answering customer queries on construction issues, and striving to improve operational margins. A construction manager job also requires reporting program performance data as required to the management or customers.A construction manager job requires a BS degree in construction management, engineering or related field. A post graduate degree, MBA, or M.Tech in civil structural, or finance may prove advantageous. Construction experience in relevant operations management, construction management, and/or craft supervision experience is a plus. An equivalent combination of technical training and operations management experience may also be considered. A construction manager job may require travel for extended periods, at various project locations.
